Trivia[edit]

  • The episode was set to launch in November of 2024 and end in February of 2025, however, it was moved to coincide with the delay of The Final Shape.
  • Due to the SAG-AFTRA strike occurring at the time of Heresy's development, depending on the language, either some or all voice lines are impacted. For example:
    • English: Some voice lines for Sloane and Xivu Arath are missing.
    • French: Every voice line is missing.
  • Several aspects of the aesthetics and plot for this episode are similar to elements from Bethesda's Elder Scrolls game series; the Eversion Anchors released by the Dreadnaught are similar in form and function to the Dark Anchors utilized by the Daedric Prince Molag Bal in The Elder Scrolls Online, and the tentacles and floating eyes found throughout the Dreadnaught are reminiscent of the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora.
    • Other elements are also reminiscent of Mojang's classic game Minecraft; the new Nether activity bears the same name as a hellish dimension from Minecraft, the floating eyes resemble Eyes of Ender, and the game mechanic of the eyes inflecting the "Suffocating Terror" debuff is reminiscent of Minecraft's Endermen attacking the player when they make eye contact with them.
