Features[edit]

Activities[edit]

Loot[edit]

This expansion includes three gear pools: Xûr's Treasure Hoard, the Dares of Eternity, and the Grasp of Avarice dungeon.

Grasp of Avarice includes four weapons, with three of them being remixes of iconic Destiny weapons, including Eyasluna, Matador 64, and1000-Yard Stare. The fourth weapon is the Hero of Ages from one of Bungie's oldest games, Myth. It also includes unique Hive-themed armor sets, the Twisting Echo Suit for Hunters, the Descending Echo Suit for Titans, and the Corrupting Echo Suit for Warlocks.

Dares of Eternity has its own loot pool, which would later be updated to include sunset weapons and armor from Season of the Hunt to Season of the Lost. It launched with five exclusive weapons, including Pardon Our Dust, BxR-55 Battler, Wastelander M5, Retraced Path, Half-Truths, and The Other Half.

The new social space, Xûr's Treasure Hoard, also has its own loot. Players can trade Treasure Keys earned from Dares of Eternity for exclusive armor ornament sets for each class, as well as other cosmetics. It originally utilized Strange Coins as a main currency, but this was later changed with the arrival of The Final Shape update. Strange Coins can be traded for treasure keys, Paraversal Hauls, or bounties and engrams from the secondary vendor, the Starhorse. The primary vendor, Xûr, also has an exclusive exotic quest, Magnum Opus. Completing this quest would grant the player an exclusive exotic weapon, the Forerunner, which is an homage to the Magnum from Halo: Combat Evolved.
