The Wastelander M5 is a Legendary Shotgun introduced in the 30th Anniversary Pack. It can be obtained from Dares of Eternity or the treasure chest in Xûr's Treasure Hoard.

- The Wastelander M5 is based on the dual-wielded WSTE-M5 Combat Shotgun from Bungie's Marathon 2: Durandal, albeit with a more reasonable single barrel.
- A recreation of the original weapon is featured in the All Four Barrels Finisher made available on Eververse alongside the release of the 30th Anniversary Pack.
- The description refers to the original weapon's ability to be used in a vacuum in gameplay.
