The Hawkmoon is an exotic Hand Cannon introduced in Destiny Year One.[1] A Year Two version of Hawkmoon is available in The Taken King to Xbox users as well. Along with the release of Rise of Iron, Hawkmoon has been given two ornaments that have a chance of dropping from Radiant Treasure.

Gameplay

Year One

The Hawkmoon benefits from damage buffs. Its special upgrade, Luck in the Chamber, increases the damage of one random round in the chamber. This increases to three rounds with Holding Aces. It was only available in the Playstation 3/4 versions of Destiny, until fall 2015[1]

Year Two

The Year Two Hawkmoon is available on all consoles.

Year Three

Hawkmoon is one of the few exotic weapons that were given ornaments that have a chance to drop in Radiant Treasure.
