The Resonant Knife, First of the Reshaped is a Taken Subjugator[1] seen commanding the forces of the Dire Taken. It would be responsible for killing Eris Morn when she and Drifter went to investigate the Taken's resurgence on the Dreadnaught.

Keit'Ehr was the first attempt by the Witness to create Dread using the Light within the Traveler's Pale Heart in combination with its own Resonant Darkness. The resulting being was too weak to move and remained dormant following its creation, forcing the Witness to abandon it as a failure, but not before giving it a name and instructing it to seek them out should it manage to survive, claiming that they would be recognized for their strength if they did so. From their resting place, Keit'Ehr would watch the creation of the other Dread and the death of the Witness. Only afterwards would it awaken and go on to prove its worth as a Subjugator.[2]

At some point, Keit'Ehr would be Taken through unknown means and rechristened itself as "The Resonant Knife, First of the Reshaped".
