Fabian Strategy is a Titan-exclusive exotic Auto Rifle introduced in The Taken King.[1] It is obtained by reaching Rank 3 Gunsmith reputation with a Titan and completing the Back in the Saddle quest.
Gameplay
The Fabian Strategy has decent base stats for dealing with most encounters, but its main buffs are devoted to increasing combat effectiveness when under fire by multiple enemies. It comes equipped with Crowd Control for a slight damage buff, which combines with the perk Life Support for regaining health when critically injured. Lastly, Front Lines increases the weapon's stability, handling, and rate of fire when engaged in close combat.
Trivia
The Fabian strategy is an actual military strategy used to avoid direct confrontation, focusing on attrition tactics and indirection.
