Red Death is an exotic pulse rifle featured in Destiny. The rifle features a bayonet on its barrel. It was formerly owned by a Guardian, until its owner was killed, presumably in battle. It was then taken by a bandit, who repainted it and modified it, among other things hacking the optics and adding new graphics.[2][1] In addition to being conventionally powerful, it has several upgrades that provide buffs to the player, such as an increase to the user's health regeneration rate. These buffs trigger more frequently during competitive multiplayer.[3]
