The Unwaking Mind is a Taken Hydra obscuring the signal of a pool of the Traveler's Light.

Gameplay

The Unwaking Mind appears after the Guardian shoots the spike of Darkness above the Volatile Darkness, blocked by a barrier. It will continually teleport all across the room and will summon hordes of Taken for assistance. Upon losing half of its health, it will gain Immunity and summon forth two Harbingers. Once the Harbingers are slain, the barrier around the Volatile Darkness will lower, allowing the Guardian to use the Volatile Darkness to destroy the two Taken barriers on the left and right sides of the room. When inside, the Guardian will be confronted by Bound Dread units and a Resonant Warder Wyvern. Once the two Resonant Warders are slain, the two correct Glyphs are revealed. The Guardian must then interact with the correct Glyphs to dissolve the Unwaking Mind's shield. Once the Unwaking Mind is slain, the Guardian can depart from the Dissent and finally arrive at the Impasse where the pool of Light is located.
