The Impasse is a playable zone in The Pale Heart. Unlocked after beating the Iconoclasm Mission, it serves as one of the main Landing Zones in the Pale Heart, with Taken and Dread forces being encountered here. It is one of the 3 sites for an Overthrow. During Operation Ahamkara, the Vanguard set up a camp called the Refuge of Beginnings.
