Transcript[edit]

Eris Morn: The Path of Resolve seeks to control, while the Path of Ambition accepts that there is no control.
Trenchway, Dreadnaught, Rings of Saturn
Eris Morn: The call I felt emanating from the Deep was not for us, or anyone. It was a beacon of want and purpose, sounding from whatever new entity now inhabits the Deep. Drifter has located the source. Make no mistake: it is no gift. This, we take for ourselves.
- Traversing further into the Dreadnaught, the Guardian enters into an empty room where an Ascendant Portal materializes.
- An impossible will beckons…
- The Guardian enters the portal which transports them further in the Trenchway. Navigating across Taken Blights, they enter into another portal and delve down a slope to arrive to the Invasion Bay. Venturing across Blights that manifest in response to their presence, the Guardian enters into a portal that transports them to the entrance of the Core of Corruption covered in Blights and tentacles. They defeat the Hive Wizard, Xvaak, Waybearer and its two Acolyte underlings.
- The ritual awaits command…
- Standing on the ritual plate, the Guardian dispels the Blights covering the entrance and becomes torn between dimensions in the process.
- You've unraveled the seal…
- The Guardian's briefly vision darkens until they awaken and find the entrance enshrouded in tentacles. Their vision then darkens once more and they find themselves once again within the material plane where the doorway is unsealed.
Core of Corruption, Dreadnaught, Rings of Saturn
- As the Guardian enters into the Core of Corruption, Taken eyes emerge and transport them into a Blighted Cyst.
Blighted Cyst, Ascendant Plane
Eris Morn: Sloane would advise that we contain this aberrant expression of Taken energy. Her methods are not wrong, but there are often more paths than one to victory.
- Interacting with a stone structure at the centre of the cyst, the Guardian communes with the corruption in an attempt to bend it to their will.
- A willful power seeks to corrupt…
- As swarms of Dire Taken enter into the cyst, the Guardian eliminates these entities to strengthen their hold over the corruption.
- The corruption bends to your will…
- The Guardian defeats the forces of the Dire Taken and are transported to the Core of Corruption doorway where the entrance is sealed once more. Extending their hand to wield this power, the Guardian successfully absorbs the power and bends it to their will, completing the Path of Ambition.
Eris Morn: Yes. In one fist, you grip control. In the other, you reach with ambition. You are ready to face any horror the Dreadnaught can produce, and turn them away with your fury.
