Supernumerary Blitz, also referred to as Vex Strike Force, is a Public Event of Destiny 2 that takes place on Neptune. A large group of powerful Vex attacks the Vex Incursion Zone, and the Guardians are tasked with stopping them.

• Destroy the Minotaurs Supernumeros to close the VexNet portals and end the blitz.

Gameplay

This event is extremely rare, appearing very sparingly within the weekly Vex Incursion Zone. Its marker will read Vex Strike Force Incoming, with a unique icon. The event's enemies are much stronger than the norm for a Public Event, though it lasts for fifteen minutes instead of the usual five. When the event starts, three vortex-like portals will open over the area, and from each a giant Minotaur Supernumeros will appear, alongside several endlessly replenishing reinforcements. The Supernumeros is protected by an immunity shield that can only be broken by the laser emitted from an Arc Cranium, which can be obtained by slaying nearby glowing Minotaurs. Once one of the Supernumeros is slain, another one will appear at the remaining two locations, and once a pair of these are slain, a third will appear in the last location. Destroying all six Minotaurs Supernumeros within the time limit will complete the event, which rewards players with a piece of Exotic armor.
