Episode: Heresy is the third Episode of Destiny 2 and the third episode of the Final Shape cycle. It focuses on new revelations towards the Hive pantheon and a new eldritch force, along with the enigmatic return of Oryx, the Taken King.

Trivia

• The episode was set to launch in November of 2024 and end in February of 2025, however, it was moved to coincide with the delay of The Final Shape.
• Due to the SAG-AFTRA strike occurring at the time of Heresy's development, depending on the language, either some or all voice lines are impacted. For example:
  • English: Some voice lines for Sloane and Xivu Arath are missing.
  • French: Every voice line is missing.
