The Bergusia Forge is one of the four Black Armory forges. It is located in Niobe Labs, hidden within the European Dead Zone on Earth. Fallen from the Kell's Scourge took control of the labs and the forge, guarding it with The Black Recluse, Forge Warden.

History[edit]

The Forge, like its counterparts across Sol, was designed and assembled by the minds of the Black Armory. However, its presence within a secretive, sealed facility implies that this Forge may not have been actively deployed like its counterparts. The only entrance to the Forge was locked behind the mysterious Niobe Labs, though this security measure became redunant in the wake of the Collapse and the proceeding centuries, with the ceiling of the Forge's chamber caving in some time before the events of the Battle of the Forges.

Shortly after meeting Ada-1, a Guardian fireteam successfully cracked the security of Niobe's Torment, allowing free access for Guardians to assemble advanced Black Armory weaponry. Some time after INSURRECTION PRIME, Kell's Scourge was destroyed, Siviks, Lost to None met a similar fate as he was intercepted and executed inside the Forge's chamber, ending the Kell's Scourge for good.

During the events of Season of Arrivals, all available Guardians were tasked by the Vanguard to help evacuate Titan, Mercury, Mars, and Io. This gave Fallen raiding parties the perfect opportunity to breach the Forges and dismantle them, much to Ada-1's distraught.[1]
