Into the Light is a content update that was announced on November 27th, 2023. The update, releasing on April 9th and continuing throughout the rest of April and May of 2024, is intended to fill the gap between the narrative story of Season of the Wish and the delayed release of The Final Shape.

PvP

• 3 new Crucible maps: Eventide Labs on Europa, Cirrus Plaza on Neomuna, and Dissonance on the Terraformed Pyramid, releasing on May 7

Activities

• Onslaught: a 3-player activity where Guardians set up defenses around the Last City and defend the Advanced Defense Unit from the Witness's forces in increasing difficult waves. Guardians can also take the fight inside the Pyramid Ship.
• Pantheon: a new activity where players face raid bosses with increasing difficulty, releasing on April 30.
