- "Nothin' in the world that 30 rounds can't solve."
- — Weapon description
The Huckleberry is an Exotic Submachine Gun introduced in Warmind. It can be obtained as a random drop from Exotic Engrams.
Lore[edit]
We used to play for keeps. Used to be that was the only way. Back in those days trust came slow, or not at all. The only thing you could truly rely on was the iron at your side. Fate of the world? Immortal gods? Don't know much 'bout that. But when everything's on the line, it's quality that counts. Tex Mechanica: we play by the old rules, the best rules. We play for keeps.
Weapon perks[edit]

Column 3[edit]
Ricochet Rounds: Rounds ricochet off hard surfaces. • Increases stability • Slightly increases range
Column 4[edit]
Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily grant increased damage. Stacks 3x.
Column 5[edit]
Short-Action Stock: This weapon is especially easy to grip. • Greatly increases handling speed
Catalyst[edit]
The Huckleberry catalyst is obtained as a rare drop from playlist activities.
To complete the catalyst objective, the player must notch up 500 kills using The Huckleberry.
- Bull Rider: Kills with this weapon now reload the entire magazine.
Gameplay[edit]
The Huckleberry may appear to be a bland submachine gun, as it lacks any standout or strange traits, but it can be quite powerful when used correctly. The gun will spin up from 750 RPM, to 810 RPM, to 900 RPM, every 10 bullets under sustained fire. It also features an improved Rampage, despite appearing to be the same as Rampage available on other weapons. It increases damage in stages of 20%, to 41%, to 66% for each stack of Rampage attained. Coupled with the catalyst capacity to reload the entire magazine on kill, this weapon can be a shredder in the right environment.
