Interference is a weekly quest running throughout Season of Arrivals. It can be started once the players have completed the Means to and End quest.
For a period of eighteen weeks, the Hive and Taken commanded by Nokris swarm the Tree of Silver Wings by the The Cradle on Io and shrouded it with Savathûn's influence with the aid of her Witnesses to bar Eris' communications with the Pyramids directly.
Players are required to go through three different versions of the Court of Savathûn as part of a 'loop' – the Ritual encounter, the Relic encounter, and the Crystal encounter – which rotated weekly. Once defeated, Eris will unveil a message from the Darkness each week.
The final Interference mission has Guardians fight against Nokris himself within Savathûn's court.

Nokris
The fight with Nokris is similar to that of Strange Terrain, the first instance where Guardians combat against the Hive necromancer. When a sufficient amount of damage is done to Nokris, he engulfs himself in a shield, powered by Hive crystals. When this occurs, Knights are summoned. These Knights drop an energy orb upon their death, which is used to destroy the Hive crystals by being thrown at them. Once the crystals are destroyed, Nokris' shield dissipates, allowing for another damage phase. This process is repeated multiple times until Nokris is finally killed.
