Yirksii, Subversive Chieftain is a large Scorn Arc Chieftain who serves as the boss of the Bay of Drowned Wishes Lost Sector in the Dreaming City.[1]

Gameplay

Yirksii can be found at the end of the Bay of Drowned Wishes, which is accessed from the Divalian Mists area. The entrance to the Lost Sector is located right behind the Landing Zone where you spawn.

After you have killed off all of the Scorn enemies in the sector, the shield barrier blocking the way to the end of the sector will lower, allowing you to enter the cave where the boss and their forces are located. Yirksii is equipped with a Scorn Blaster, which charges up and fires volleys of Solar projectiles in bursts of three. As an Arc Chieftain, they can also utilize Ether Tether totems, which will restrain you and slow your movement if you are within its area of effect, making you an easier target. If you are within a close enough distance them, the boss can knock you back with a powerful stomp attack, which will cause significant damage.

After losing a third of their health, Yirksii will summon more reinforcements to aid them in combat, and can call upon more after losing two thirds. However, they lack any defensive abilities and are not particularly resilient either, so they can be taken out very quickly with the use of your Super or a Power Weapon. Once the boss has been neutralized, you will acquire the Lost Sector cache codes, which will allow you to open the chest and collect your rewards.
