The Siege Minotaur was a large Vex Minotaur that was found in the Exodus Crash Strike, where it could appear as a random boss at the Glade of Echoes on Nessus.[1] After the Beyond Light expansion was released, however, it was replaced with a generically-named, Ultra "Minotaur" with a guaranteed chance to spawn.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

The Siege Minotaur can be encountered as a random boss at the entrance to EX-077 Command in the Glade of Echoes, where the Walker is deployed. It will teleport in alongside several Goblins and engage in combat with the Fallen tank. The boss behaves identically to the average Minotaur, holding its position while continuously blasting its enemies with Void projectiles from its Torch Hammer. It also has a powerful stomp attack which it will use to knock back players who come too close, launching them backwards and seriously damaging them if they are caught in its radius. In terms of defense, however, the Ultra is severely lacking, only having the few Goblins that spawn alongside it for support, making it very easy for it to be brought down with enough firepower. The Siege Minotaur and its allies will despawn if the Walker is destroyed first.
