An aurora spreads across the stars, and from within its shimmering confines, a mysterious object materializes and falls to the surface of Nessus. Travel to the planet and begin your search for this object, known only as an Echo.

Episode: Echoes is the first Episode of Destiny 2 and the first episode of the Final Shape cycle. It focuses on a Vex-related threat on Nessus.[1]

  • The episode was set to launch in March of 2024 and end in June of the same year, however, it was moved to coincide with the delay of The Final Shape.
  • Episode: Echoes marks the change from a seasonal model, ending with Season of the Wish, to a new Episodic Model. Episodes are standalone, run for a longer amount of time, and are split into 3 acts.
