Viraak, Cruelty of Xivu Arath is a powerful Hive Wizard encountered in the Broken Courier Mission. They were tasked with defending the gateway into the Gardens of Esila in order to protect the various stolen relics from the Awoken, before they were killed by The Guardian[1].

  • It is unknown whether or not Viraak originally appeared in Forsaken, their spawn rate was so low that they wouldn't be discovered until years later or they would be added to the mission in Season of the Deep.
