Akardon, Pitiless Mind is a Vex Mind of the Sol Divisive that learned how to simulate the Techeuns and their ability to track Riven's clutch.[1] It serves as the final boss of the Starcrossed mission when the Guardian goes into the Black Garden to retrieve one of Riven's Eggs.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

To traverse the room and deal damage to Akardon, players must step on the orange and blue paracausal sparks to gain the Crowned by Dragons buff, which lasts for fourty-four seconds. Stepping on either orange or blue paracausal sparks will restart the buffs timer. During the encounter, Akardon will summon Taken Goblins, Seekers, Harpys and Pitiless Attendants to assist it. Once Akardon is slain, the encounter is complete.

Trivia[edit]

  • Akardon is possibly derived from the Greek Word Ákardos (Άκαρδος), which translates to Heartless.
