Yächaar, Bound to Sedia is a Taken Phalanx seen in the Malfeasance spin on the The Corrupted Strike as part of the "Darkness in the Light" Quest. Unlike its Ogre counterpart, Yächaar is the final boss of the revamped Strike, where it guards the remains of Callum Sol.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

Yächaar is fought on a small platform suspended over a vast chasm, making it easy fo the Phalanx to blow the player off the cliff with its Shield Blasts. Yächaar will cyclically charge the player for a shield blast, then attempt to Tether them to make them an easier target. It is recommended one destroys any tether spheres as soon as they are created. If the player is close enough, it will attempt to melee, while if they are far, or on one of the secondary platforms, Yächaar will teleport to close the distance quickly. Once damaged enough, they will summon Acolyte's Eyes for aid in the fight. Once it is dead, the mission will end.
