Rise of the Emperors, also known as Season of the Emperors, is the twelfth season for Destiny 2, occurring from November 24, 2020. It revolved around Atrykis, and his House of Emperors rising to power and The Last City's attempting to stop them with the help of the House of Lions and a new ally.

Trivia

• Rise of the Emperors is the third Season that does not have the word: "Season" in it. The other two is Black Armory and Joker's Wild.
  • However like Black Armory and Joker's Wild, Rise of the Emperors also has "Season of the Emperors" as their second name.
