Exotic Missions are a series of Quest Missions in Destiny 2 that serve as a means of acquiring certain Exotic Weapons. Many also feature secrets that allow players to earn unique cosmetic items such as Sparrows, jumpships, or Ghost shells.
Exotic mission rotator
Beginning in Season 22 following the launch of Lightfall, an Exotic mission rotator will be added that will allow players to play a vaulted Exotic mission, which rotates every week. The rewards for playing rotator missions have yet to be announced.[1]
