Template:Article Quote Season of the Splicer is the fourteenth season of Destiny 2 and the third seasonal content of Beyond Light, releasing on May 11th, 2021 and concluding on August 24, 2021. This season the Vanguard forms an unlikely alliance with Mithrax, Kell of Light and his House of Light to stop a Vex simulation from engulfing the Last City; to which Guardians must delve into the Vex Network and destroy the Vex mind responsible at its heart.

Description

An Endless Night:
The Vex have plunged the Last City into an endless night, threatening the safety once found beneath the watchful presence of the Traveler. It is here, bathed in perpetual moonlight, that Ikora reveals the identity of an unlikely ally that may hold the keys to triumphing over this attack.The Vex have plunged the Last City into an endless night, threatening the safety once found beneath the watchful presence of the Traveler. It is here, bathed in perpetual moonlight, that Ikora reveals the identity of an unlikely ally that may hold the keys to triumphing over this attack.

Allies Bound by Light
Mithrax, Kell of the House of Light, leads a small group of Eliksni who wish to be closer to the Traveler. As a Sacred Splicer, he possesses the knowledge needed to combat the Vex technology that ensnares the Last City. There is a bond of Light shared here… will it be enough?
