Weavers are one of the units that make up the troops of the Dread. They are reshaped Psions with mastery over Strand, that attack in large numbers.

Gameplay

Weavers, unlike their Psion progenitors, tend to consistently stay near the back of battles. Weavers only actively engage in fighting when they have no more allies to hide behind or are directly engaged. When an enemy is out of cover, the Weaver has a high chance of casting its Transverse Reed to fully expose its target or worse, bring them out of position to get ripped apart by its allies. Due to their low health but dangerous ability and notable damage provided by their resonate allision, Weavers should be among the first Dread to be pinned and killed. Once all Weavers and Attendants are killed, the current Dread deployment will become far less flexible and vulnerable to cover fire.
