The Dread[1] are an army of Darkness-powered entities created by the Witness with its paracausal Pyramid technology.

History

Structure

The Dread are comprised of beings reshaped by the Witness into their "perfected" form, with its Disciples serving as a genetic blueprint for some of the Dread units to have descended from their lineage and remnants of other subjugated species transfigured into its army using stolen Light from the Traveler.[citation needed]
