Desperate Measures is the eighth and final story mission of the Lightfall expansion.

Objectives[edit]

Head to Irkalla Complex
- Fight your way through the Shadow Legion forces and help Nimbus defend the city against the siege.
Disable the Barrier
- Target the Shadow Legion payload to destroy the generators powering the barrier.
Head to Irkalla Complex
- Fight your way through the Shadow Legion forces and help Nimbus defend the city against the siege.
Destroy the Anti-Air Guns
- AA Guns Destroyed: X out of 2
- Defeat the Barrier Guards to gain access to the AA gun defense console.
Head to Irkalla Complex
- Fight your way through the Shadow Legion forces and help Nimbus defend the city against the siege.
Secure Turrets
- Clear out adversarial Cabal around turrets that can help with defenses.
Destroy Adversarial Tank
- Use the satellite target-painter to call orbital strikes at tank locations.
Defend the Vault Entrance
- Clear out Shadow Legion forces attacking the vault entrance.
Join Caiatl
- Regroup with Caiatl on the wall and prepare for the next onslaught.
Defend the Vault Entrance
- Clear out Shadow Legion forces attacking the vault entrance.
Prepare for the Last Stand
- Gather provisions before the final wave of combatants.
Defend the Vault Entrance
- Clear out Shadow Legion forces attacking the vault entrance.
Head to the Veil
- Make your way to the Veil and defend it at all costs
Defeat Calus
- Eliminate Calus and secure the Veil
