Enthymeme is a mission in the Wishing All the Best quest of Season of the Wish.
Objectives[edit]
- Traverse the Lair and Slay What Lurks Within
- Portal opened
- Reach the next pathway
- Reach the Catacombs Through the Portal
- Enter the portal
- Form a Portal to Escape the Trapped Room
- Plates activated: X of 3
- Find and activate all three plates to open the portal.
- Escape Through the Portal
- A portal has materialized, providing an escape route.
- Lure out Mephitic Hosts by Defeating Scorn
- Scorn defeated: 0%
- Defeat Plaguewielders by Using the Ephemeral Virus
- Plaguewielders: X of 3
- The Scorn are spreading corrupted Ether.
- Defeat Mephitic Hosts to gain the Ephemeral Virus
- Break Plaguewielders Shields With the Ephemeral Virus
- Slay the Lair's trespassers
- Shield regenerates in 1:27
- Retrieve the egg for Riven
Transcript[edit]
Petra Venj: The next egg should be coming into range.
The Crow: Mara's seeing to the Harbinger. We'll cover you on this one.
- Missions begins
- The Guardian arrives at Riven's Lair
The Crow: Guardian, I'm seeing a lot of Scorn activity ahead.
The Crow: I doubt they understand what it is we're after, but they'll get in our way all the same.
Riven: Such callousness towards your creations. I suppose they have a new master now.
- The Guardian enters a portal to traverse further through the Lair
- The Guardian arrives at and enters a portal, taking them to the Splintered Geode
Riven: Do you remember? How you brought me to the Dreaming City for the first time?
The Crow: I remember.
Riven: You sought a gift for your sister. Something that could delight and surprise her.
Petra Venj: Let's stay focused.
- The Guardian defeats Scorn and activates three plates to open a portal
- The Guardian enters the portal, taking them to the Gnashing Chamber
- Scorn appear
The Crow: Glowing altar. Always a good sign.
Petra Venj: Is it?
The Crow: Stay sharp, Guardian.
- The Guardian defeats hordes of Scorn. Mephitic Hosts appear
The Crow: Pick up enough Ether corruption, and you should be able to slip past their defenses.
Riven: Your faded prince has experience in such matters. Best you follow his lead.
- The Guardian defeats Mephitic Hosts, obtaining the Ephemeral Virus
- The Guardian breaks the Plaguewielders shields, and jumps on the Altar to rid themselves of the Virus
- The Guardian kills the three Plaguewielders
- A portal opens, the Guardian enters, taking them to Fetid Conduit
The Crow: These Scorn can't be getting fresh orders from the Witness. What are they up to?
Petra Venj: Poisoning every corner of the Dreaming City they can reach.
Riven: Perhaps they resemble their creator: all aimless yearning.
The Crow: I yearn for you to stop talking.
- The Guardian defeats Scorn and activates three plates to open a portal
- The Guardian enters the portal, taking them to the Lyceum
- Darkness Zone. Respawning Restricted
- The Guardian confronts Locus of
Petra Venj: There! The head of the snake.
The Crow: Are they after the egg?
Riven: Pity. You'll have to put this one down as well.
- The Guardian defeats Mephitic Hosts, obtaining the Ephemeral Virus
- The Guardian kills the Well Protector and breaks the Locus of Subjugation's shield
- The Guardian jumps on the Altar to rid themselves of the Virus
- The Guardian defeats the Locus of Subjugation
- The Guardian retrieves Riven's egg
Riven: I understand the queen's reluctance. But you've done the Witness's bidding before. Why not again?
The Crow: Kill my friends to bring on the final shape? No thanks.
Riven: A wish to end suffering. You made such a wish once, and brought about so much death.
The Crow: You know that wasn't what I wanted!
Riven: You should have been more careful with your words.
Petra Venj: Enough! It's done. The Queen is waiting.
