The Chantry of the Darkest Hour is a cavernous chamber deep within the Lunar Pyramid that overlooks a large void. The chantry served as the site of the battle between Empress Caiatl, the Guardian, Emperor Calus before his ascension into one of the Disciples of the Witness and the discovery of Nezarec's Glaive gifted to him by another Disciple of the Witness Rhulk: Nezarec's Whisper by Eris Morn.
