"And my vanquisher will read that book, seeking the weapon, and they will come to understand me, where I have been and where I was going."
The following is a verbatim transcription of an official document for archival reasons. As the original content is transcribed word-for-word, any possible discrepancies and/or errors are included.

Start[edit]

Hawthorne hurries to hand you a datapad. "This just came in from a communications relay on Titan. The commander asked me to deliver it to you immediately."

The datapad contains coordinates on Titan for the New Pacific Arcology. "The Hive have a foothold there, but the deputy commander says the situation has changed," Hawthorne says with concern.

"Something about a Lucent Hive ship entering Titan's atmosphere and diving into the ocean," Hawthorne says and motions to the datapad. "Details look scarce. But whatever's going on can't be good."

Launch the "Ghosts of the Deep" dungeon from the H.E.L.M. in the Director.

Step 1[edit]

Deputy Commander Sloane spotted a Lucent Hive command ship entering Titan's atmosphere. Shortly after its arrival, the ship dove into the moon's methane sea and anomalous energy readings spiked at the New Pacific Arcology. The deputy commander has called on you to investigate.

  • Complete the "Ghosts of the Deep" dungeon.
Notes[edit]

See Ghosts of the Deep dungeon for the transcript.

Step 2[edit]

Hawthorne has questions about what happened below the Arcology.

  • Return to Hawthorne in the Tower Bazaar.

"No one will tell me what happened down there," Hawthorne says with a nervous look back at Ikora. "Whenever I ask, she says it's 'privileged information' and shuts me down."

Anxiously looking around, Hawthorne shakes her head. "I won't ask you to go against Ikora's wishes. She's gotta be keeping secrets for a good reason. But I haven't seen her that shaken since she learned about Savathûn having the Light…"

Hawthorne furrows her brow and stares into the distance for a moment. "Actually… maybe it's better if I don't know, " she murmurs, shifting her attention back to you. "Sometimes the truth is more terrifying than your own imagination."
