The Hunt for the Leviathans is an ongoing conflict between the Weavers of Sorrow and the Leviathans. The hunt was instigated by the Witness who decreed the extermination and any remaining Worms that didn't agree to the ideals of the Sword Logic's tenets, leading to Shin'ra and his Celebrants to hunt down and torture the remaining Worms.
