Doctrine of Passing is an Legendary Auto Rifle in The Taken King. It can be acquired through the Trials of Osiris.
Gameplay[edit]
Famed for its extremely high fire rate and solid stability, Doctrine of Passing became highly sought-after during year 2 of Destiny 1. It's Adept version, only obtainable from a flawless Trials run, was both rare and deadly to fellow guardians.

- FastDraw IS: Standard sight. A lightweight design, good for recoil control.
- Red Dot-ORA: Slightly improved optics, improved handling.
- OEG Riflescope: Improved optics, improved range.

- Persistence: This weapon grows more accurate the longer it is fired.

- Extended Mag: A larger magazine.
- Smallbore: Increased Range and Stability. Slower Reload, Reduced Magazine Size.
