The April Update (also known as Destiny Update 2.2.0) is a free content update for Destiny: The Taken King that will be released on April 12, 2016. The April Update features a continuation of The Taken King's storyline, as Guardians aid Variks, the Loyal in tracking down Malok, a pretender to Oryx's vacant throne, while the Taken War continues.
