Ascendant Portal

Ascendant Portals (also known as Rupture or Ascendant Rifts) are constructs used by the Hive to travel into the Ascendant Realm or into the personal realm of a Hive God.

Overview

Ascendant Portals act as gateways into the Ascendant Plane and the various cyst-universes of the Hive Gods. These portals are accessible only to those that have gained the power of ascendency.

Two variants of the Ascendant Portals exist, those that are crafted by the Hive that bear a resemblance to the portal within the Court of Oryx, and those created by the Taken located within the Dreaming City.
