The Upended is a massive energy converter located aboard the Sunken Pyramid in Savathûn's Throne World. It was originally used to siphon power from Lubrae's Sapphiric Sun, but it has since been repurposed into a superweapon by Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness, who has used it on numerous occasions to destroy entire celestial bodies during his conquests.
Xita, the Nurturing Worm was brought aboard Rhulk's Pyramid as a power source for the Upended, revealing that it cannot be used without first draining something of its energy[1].
