Talan, Enduring Shield is a Blood Guard Legionary seen in the Red Legion Takedown. One of the three guards tasked with holding the starboard quadrant aboard the Almighty, he and his fellow guardsmen are first seen holding off a Vex incursion headed by the Vindictive Mind. After facing severe opposition from the Vex Mind, Talan would call for reinforcements to deal with the Vex threat, which would, inadvertently help to deal with the Guardian intruders. Depending on the Guardian's response to the guards, he can either be killed in the field or allowed to escape and find his way into a Goliath Tank, only to meet his inevitable end.
