"The Shock Dagger is a deadly combination of stun gun and knife. Composed of a lightweight metal and powered by a small Arc charge, the Shock Dagger is capable of cutting through armor and delivering a staggering jolt of electricity. The Fallen use them for every purpose imaginable, from light metalwork to hand-to-hand combat."
— Grimoire description[1]

Shock Daggers are Fallen melee weapons commonly used by Dregs of all stripes, though other Fallen are known to keep them as backup weapons.

Gameplay[edit]

Shock Daggers are the secondary weapons of Dregs and Splicer Dregs. These knives inflict Arc damage, though of course they require their fragile wielders to move to melee combat. They are usually wielded in conjunction with Shock Pistols, and Dregs with other guns don't use Shock Daggers. Occasionally, in Destiny, Dregs go into battle with a pair of Shock Daggers, in which case they will rush into melee combat immediately.
