Zâtrox, the Necromancer is a Hive Necromancer and esteemed member of Shin'ra's Court of Sorrow. A practitioner of Necromancy, his skills of raising the dead were unmatched, giving him quite the reputation as a heretic within the Hidden Swarm and the Weavers of Sorrow. He serves as the final boss of the Shadow's Dawn Dungeon.

Following the subsequent defeat of Shin'ra during the Corruption's Insurgence, Zâtrox began to rally the members of the the Weavers within the Pit of Decay in a bid of revenge against the Guardians aboard the Nephilim.
