"Was looking, searching for new Wolf Kell. Could not find one. Could not understand House Wolves tactics... bad tactics. Fight Cabal? (laughs) Could not find new Kell because there is no Kell. House Wolves follows a new god, a Servitor, a Prime. This is a pilgrimage, Guardian. And for faith, they will stop at nothing."
Variks, the Loyal.[1]

Orbiks Prime was a Prime Servitor within the House of Wolves, served by Archon Priest, Keldar.

Biography[edit]

Orbiks Prime was presumed lost to the Wolves long ago, leading to the ascendancy of Kaliks Prime and the gradual extinction of the Orbiks line of Servitors; Mecher Orbiks-11 was assumed to be the last of its kind before its destruction.[2][3] Following the failed rebellion of Skolas, however, the surviving Wolves regrouped on Mars under Keldar to rebuilt Orbiks Prime, which assumed the leadership of the House and began producing new Orbiks Servitors.[1]

However, its ascendancy was short-lived, as Variks, the Loyal of the House of Judgment was monitoring the Wolves' activity since the Taken War, whom has since encroached upon the Cabal's formerly occupied bases as their newest den. The Guardians, having killed Keldar and driving the Fallen out of their den, finally cornered Orbiks Prime at Meridian Bay and destroyed the Prime Servitor. This left the Wolves leaderless once more and Variks hoping that the House of Wolves will be broken for good.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

During the end of the Prime's Path mission, Orbiks Prime will exit out from the doors of the The Legion's Keep to battle against the player. Much like most Ultra class Servitors, Orbiks will fire Void energy blasts through its eye as its weapon, teleporting around the battlefield to evade enemy attacks or to ruin a player's line of sight, calling in reinforcements to help fight against the player, and if in close-range, it will unleash its Servitor Attack, which will drain a player's health. However, Orbiks also has a very unique ability that other Primes doesn't have, which is being able to teleport the player around in different areas to displace them either far away to keep them from damaging him, or getting the player to use its Servitor Attack ability. Making Orbiks a tough opponent to fight againt.[4]

Trivia[edit]

  • Orbiks Prime's ability of teleporting and displacing players was carried on in Destiny 2, through the Prime Ether Servitors and a few Ultra-type Servitor bosses.
  • Orbiks Prime is the second Servitor to have its own model design and the second prime servitor to be encountered in-game, the first of both being Sepiks Prime.
  • Orbiks Prime is the first Servitor to be reborn but not title itself such after its rebirth.
    • This could be that the House of Wolves rebuilt the Prime Servitor out of its previous corpse.
    • Another reason is that it was rebuilt by its original Archon, Keldar, whom was still alive up until the Taken War, while other reborn Primes seem to have been rather rebuilt not by their respective Archons.
