Wormcradle Knights are a group of Hive Knights encountered deep within the bowels of the Sunken Pyramid. They are encountered in the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon as a part of the quest that coincides with it, where they are necessary to kill in order to gleam more knowledge on the Hive Secrets within.

Gameplay

During the second part of the quest, when the fireteam needs to discover the Hive Secrets of the Pyramid and after inputing Hive-Grieve-Worm into the machine in the Hidden camp in the first area, the Guardians need to first discover the Hive growth in an alcove beneath the dead Worm after the second encounter. After which, the team must seek out one of these knights in the staircase beforehand and eliminate them. They are not fundamentally different from their counterparts, and can be disposed of without concern for new mechanics. Once defeated, the Knight will drop a worm necessary to destroy the Hive growth in the way of the secrets within, and must swiftly and carefully, as Shriekers will now awaken as a result, bring the worm to that growth, thus allowing the team to gain the Knowledge needed to access the vault within.
