Tonic Capsule
From Destinypedia, the Destiny wiki
- "A tote of Eliksni make, fashioned to easily store tonics, formulae, and reagents in the field.
Drinking strange tonics of non-Human design has never been this easy." - — Tonic Capsule description
A Tonic Capsule is an item of Eliksni origin used to store tonic reagents and allows them to use tonics in the field.
Reagents[edit]
Reagents are ingredients used to create a variety of tonics that players can use. They include:
- Reclaimed Vitality, a common solvent used as a base for all tonics.
- Volatile Powder, an uncommon ingredient used to create Volatile Tonics, a category of tonics used to enhance mods from the Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel Seasonal Artifact.
- Enriching Powder, an uncommon ingredient used to create Enriching Tonics, a category of tonics used to influence rewards that can be earned from Episode: Revenant activities (Onslaught: Salvation, Tomb of Elders, and the Kell's Fall Exotic mission).
- Volatile Flake, a rare ingredient.
- Entiching Flake, a rare ingredient.
- Tomb Flake, a rare ingredient.
- Reflective Flake, a rare ingredient.
- Volatile Nugget, a legendary ingredient.
- Enriching Nugget, a legendary ingredient.
Most reagents can be earned by completing activities, whereas Reclaimed Vitality can be earned by defeating combatants and collecting resource nodes. Some reagents can also be earned by collecting reagent sacks from Eido by either increasing her reputation or completing fieldwork assignments.
Formulae[edit]
To unlock new tonic formulae, the player must interact with the Tonic Table at the Tonic Laboratory in the Last City and then create uncommon tonics if they have the necessary reagents at least 6 times, then create rare tonics at least 3 times. Obtaining enough tonic formulae will allow players to unlock new Minor Fieldwork assignments from Eido. Tonic formulae that are used to obtain materials can only unlocked once they have completed a key fieldwork assignment from Eido once all of the Major Fieldwork assignments have been completed, in which they are unlocked after completing 2 Minor Fieldwork assignments.
