"And my vanquisher will read that book, seeking the weapon, and they will come to understand me, where I have been and where I was going."
The following is a verbatim transcription of an official document for archival reasons. As the original content is transcribed word-for-word, any possible discrepancies and/or errors are included.

Step 1[edit]

Visit Micah-10 in the Lost City in the Pale Heart.

  • Micah-10 visited

Transcript[edit]

Mars. Of course Citrine would be on Mars. She's been obsessed with Warmind hardware for a long time. I don't know how many times Ana had to tell her, she wasn't going to build her a combat frame to ride in. Just so she could have "arms to beat a Hive with". Citrine means well, but we need her here. Be careful out there, Guardian.

Step 2[edit]

Search for Ghost telemetry in "Heist Battleground: Mars" located on the Throne World map.

  • Coordinates found

Ghost: The time rifts on Mars are so unpredictable. Most of the time they're unstable, ghostly. Then sometimes they snap into focus and present a moment out of time as real as any other. It's a shame we can't actually affect the past through them.

Transcript[edit]

(Mission begins)

  • Mara Sov: Guardian, the situation on Mars is dire. As the final shape presses into this world, it tears the already fragile time rifts apart at the seams. Portions of the Warmind facility are now operating both in and out of our time, as moments are compressed together. While I have seen no signs of the Warmind himself, the automated security that should be defunct is now... very active.
  • Micah-10: Worse, Xivu Arath has dispatched forces back to Mars to investigate the time rifts. We can't have her retrieving any functional Warmind tech from here. While our goal is finding Citrine, we need to make sure that Xivu Arath's forces get nothing from this place.

The Guardian fights their way through the Hive up to the Submind Vault. After scanning a calcified statue of a segmented Ogre, they confront and defeat the Darkblade Kelgorath.

  • Ghost: Micah, I've found Citrine's beacon. She's made her way back to the Enclave and the Hidden have told her to wait for us.
  • Micah-10: That's a relief; thank you, Ghost. Mara, what's your assessment of the situation?
  • Mara Sov: The wounds here are fragile, spreading and contracting like something that is alive... breathing. There is no sign of the Warmind, for good or ill. I... should be able to have this rift sealed, even if temporarily. I will dispatch my Techeuns to assist in the matter shortly.
  • Micah-10: [exhales in relief] Thank you for all that you do, Your Majesty.
  • Ghost: Thank you, Mara. Now, let's go get Citrine.

(Mission ends)

Step 3[edit]

Search Mars for signs of Citrine.

  • Orders read

Micah-10: Mars has always been a battleground. First with the Cabal, then the Hive, and now... different Hive. Regardless, it's a terrible place and I don't recommend staying long.

Notes[edit]

Citrine can be found at the weapon range section in the far back of the Enclave in the center of a large statue of a mass of hands and heads.

Step 4[edit]

Return to the Arbor of Light in the Pale Heart to restore the Lost Ghost.

  • Ghost Restored

Micah-10: Citrine could use a little boost of extra Light to get her on her way. Thankfully, we have an abundant source on hand in the Arbor.

Step 5[edit]

Return to the Arbor of Light to discuss next steps.

  • Micah-10 Visited

Micah-10: Come on back to the Arbor, we can discuss your findings.

Transcript[edit]

Citrine is so sweet. She profusely apologized for her delay in arrival... and tried to hide the fact that she was stripping the Warmind bunker for parts. I've put her with a patrol of Ghosts to help expunge the Witness' corruption and she's taken right to it. And with any luck, she'll put her analytical mind to expediting the process. Citrine is brilliant, like a laser, and all she needs is a little focus.
