Ixis is a House of Salvation Apothecary from Riis. She was captured by the Revenant Scorn, but working with Eido, created a tonic that could destroy the Revenant leader, Fikrul.

Biography[edit]

As Fikrul's Revenant Scorn began to ravage the Sol System, Eramis met with Ixis to inform her that a call for aid had been sent to the Last City, and Ixis should prepare her nest for evacuation. Ixis was concerned that the Vanguard would kill her but Eramis believed it was still better than the annihilation of her House. Ixis left, believing that she would never see her again.[1]

At some point, Ixis went missing and Eramis, now a prisoner of the Last City informed Eido of the House of Light to keep an eye out for her as they rescued Eliksni across Sol.[2] Ixis was briefly at Widow's Court where she set up a temporary apothecary station, but was ambushed by the Revenant Scorn and taken prisoner.[3] She was brought to the derelict Prison of Elders alongside fellow captives. She left behind a transponder in hopes someone would find it. As Ixis and her fellow captives were being transported, the Guardian found the transponder, and Variks, former warden of the prison, translated to them, explaining her current situation. Eido asked if she had experience with ontological curses, to which she replied that she was well-versed in healing and would be willing to help. Eido informed her that they would focus on freeing her as soon as possible.[4]

Ixis was brought to the Revenant Fortress, where she remained a prisoner. However, she managed to send a signal to Eramis, sharing her location.[5] The Guardian breached the fortress, and found Ixis' cell. Ixis introduced herself but warned that she didn't consider any human an ally, and refused to speak any human language.[6] Ixis remained in contact with Eido, and despite her hate towards humans, she asked her to give the Guardian her thanks. Working together with Eido, they came up with a tonic that could kill Fikrul.[5]

At some point, Ixis reached out to Eido about her questions regarding the House of Light. After arguing over cooperating with Guardians, Eido wished she could see the City as she did one day.[7]
