Tazcrakhan, Reverent of the Witness is a Dread Subjugator, acting as a commander of the Weavers of Sorrow. It had originally served as a top lieutenant of the Witness and one of the survivors of the events of Operation Ahamkara. It would eventually serve as a commander for the forces of Shin'ra during the War of the Weavers and would appear as as leading force of the Weavers during the Veil of Deimos.

Biography[edit]

Service to the Witness[edit]

Tazcrakhan served as one of the high lieutenants of the Witness during the events of Operation Ahamkara as a Dread commander and was at some point imprinted to be in service to the Hive Disciple, Shin'ra. The Subjugator would serve as an insider within the Pale Heart for the Hive Disciple and bring offerings like calcified specimens of those who were already indexed by the Witness and to make a blueprint for more Dread forces.

It was eventually at odds with the Lucent Brood and encountered Savathûn on multiple occasions, keeping them from understanding Shin'ra's own plans within the Pale Heart. The Witch Queen noted the Subjugator's increased strength and its imprint towards Shin'ra, one that she sought to infect with her lies. She was unsuccessful however as the imprint proved to be too strong to even tamper with.

When the Witness was initially sundered by the Guardians, Shin'ra knew that despite the perfect shape that the Witness sought to bring forth, the entity itself was flawed and so too was its shape. Shin'ra would then instate that Tazcrakhan was to serve only him in case of the Final Shape was to be fully unraveled by the Guardians.

Echo of Conquests[edit]

As the Echoes appeared out of the Traveler's gateway following the Witness's defeat, Shin'ra would command Tazcrakhan to collect one of these Echoes and bring it to him. This Echo manifested as the Echo of Conquests and withheld the collective memories of the Nadheal victims of Shin'ra.
