Hi, ehm, so I'm new here, and this has been on my mind for a while:
So I'm sure as you are aware, the Cosmodrome is going to be re-added into Destiny with the Beyond Light expansion. And with it, some old strikes from D1, such as Will of Crota, Devil's Lair, and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. And with it, the Vault of Glass Raid is also coming back. I know most of you here are excited (presumably), but I'd like to state my own unpopular opinion:
I don't like that some of the old Strikes and Raid are coming back.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the Cosmodrome is coming back and all, as I was glad we returned to the moon in Shadowkeep, but quite frankly, in my opinion, the Strikes would feel rather out of place in not just the story, but in the whole game overall. At least when the moon came back we got a completely new Strike rather than just the old ones from D1. I just don't feel that there is any need for the old Strikes to return to D2 at all, especially since all of them are still available to play in the previous game (and yes, Destiny 1 is still playable).
I have a very similar issue with the Vault of Glass Raid. Like, as far as I know, Venus isn't returning to D2, so how would we even go to there from the Orbiter?
So long story short: It makes no sense, it feels out of place, and unnecessary. I apologize if I end up annoying anyone, I just wanted to state ,y opinion.
Thank you.
