The new Khvostov 7G-0X has dropped for me in the Rise of Iron, and I've gotta say; it's really blown me away. There's so much customization, I love it. In fact, the journey of finding out how to use this gun is both stimulating and fun. You get to mess around with the gun a bunch to see what works for you, although I myself have been switching it up a few times. Speaking of, here are some builds that I thought would be worth a try.

Classic Khvostov

• Classic Scope
• Automatic
• Rifled Barrel
• Counterbalance/Extended Mag
• 450 RPM

Breakdown: This is supposed to be the original Khvostov. The slower rate of fire may translate to a lower time-to-kill, but there is more damage and range with this setting.

Doctrine of Khvostov

• Modernized Scope
• Automatic
• Braced Frame
• Counterbalance
• 900 RPM

Breakdown: This is a Doctrine of Passing with less recoil, but lower aim assistance. Ideal for one-on-one PvP, but also works in clutch moments during PvE activities. Generally compliments close range combat, but the extra aim assist and zoom granted by the Modernized Scope can go a long way when fighting from afar.

Grasp of Malok 2.0

• Modernized Scope
• Burst Fire
• Braced Frame/Rifled Barrel
• Counterbalance/Rangefinder
• 900 RPM

Breakdown: A god roll Grasp of Malok is hard to find, I know, though this gun's perks can get you close enough. After all, the Grasp remains one of the most sought-after guns in the game, but what's the point when you can actually turn this gun into one yourself, right?

Wait, What? WHY?

• Modernized Scope
• Semi-Auto
• Rifle Barrel
• Extended Mag
• 900 RPM

Breakdown: I added this in because I thought it would be funny. It's just extremely fun to mess around with, it makes me laugh so hard.
