Hey, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to upload images and add them to pages. Could you point me in the right direction? - Conn
Hi there, regarding my edits to House Of Dusk, I've been attempting to put together a project on all of the Fallen houses for the past couple of days, and signed up to continue the edit's I'd made earlier in the day to expand on the organisation of the Notable Members section. The specific change in adding the category of 'Captains' was because in the further edits I'd like to make to the related pages, I want to dig up some information on the House Of Dusk's Notable Members to distinguish between Captains and Barons more clearly. Also, as it stands, there's not a lot of information on the pages about specific Named members, going so far as to not have pages for most, and in my research for this project, I've collected information on locations, ranks, stats, weapons, etc... for most of the named Fallen enemies in D2. How would I get permission to create and edit pages on these members? If I try to right now, I get told that I'm not allowed.
Sorry for not reading into the guidelines properly.
Someone moved it to Traveler Cage, I was just cleaning up. But if "The Cage" is more official, then it should definitely be moved back. I know The Consul calls the device a cage during the story cutscenes, but I got the impression it wasn't the formal name for it.
It's times like this I miss the Grimoire, there surely would have been a card that identified the device.
But yeah, if you want to move it back, I have zero objections.
I might join, but in general social media and I don't click. I tend to forget to get on, then I forget my account. I used to have a Twitter and Facebook account, but stopped updating those midway through college.
Oh yeah, the main page looks good. Is it going to be rolled out site wide, or is it just to spruce up the wiki's front door?
Yep. Got my start at Wikipedia, and I've kind of been bouncing from wiki to wiki based on whatever game I'm into at the moment ever since.
I swear I was around for the first few weeks of RoI. Been doing okay, though. I ended up taking that long, unexpected hiatus because work and family commitments piled up, and RoI didn't keep me hooked like TTK did. I almost skipped D2 entirely and thought I'd never return to Destinypedia, but the previews and beta sucked me back in. I also have more time now since I moved to a new job that's half work-at-home, so hopefully I can better balance life stuff with the game and editing.
Ah, understood.
It just caught my eye, I've been editing wikis for almost a decade now and never even knew you could create a completely blank page, I thought there had to be at least 1 byte of text.
I got several sources, buddy:
- https://gamerant.com/destiny-2-leviathan-raid-boss-escape/
So there.
Certainly. The only raid I'll exclude except as a footnote would be the Vault of Glass, as canonically it wasn't mentioned in The Guardian Grimoire card.
Eternal Paths - Star Sky. Sorry, link cut out on me.
Hey, I found an awesome cover of Star Sky! . Enjoy! The drums make it epic and it includes something I wanted in the original.
Thank you for the welcome. Had that page ready for a week, but it wouldn't let me post it until today. Hope we hear about some exciting new stuff for D2 soon so I can get busy contributing more. :)
Thanks! I've done editing on other wikis before so I'm pretty familiar with the sourcing/formatting stuff.
