Age of Triumph is an upcoming live event coming to Destiny as part of the Rise of Iron expansion. It is expected to be released at the end of March 2017 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles and will deliver content on a similar scale to the April Update during The Taken King expansion. Bungie will be hosting a series of streams to present some of the new content coming to the game throughout March[1] until the 22th.[2]
Features
As with The Dawning, the content featured in this event will remain permanently in the game once it goes live,[2] with the possible exception of Sparrow Racing League. There will not be an increase in the maximum Light level that Guardians can achieve, but there will be additional loot and PvE content added in to the game.
Story Missions
There will not be any additional story missions added in this live event.
Quests
It is not known whether there will be any new quest that will be included in the Age of Triumph.
Strikes
Raids
All four Raids will have a brand-new Light level increase to 390, and there will be new challenge modes to earn additional loot. There is still much to learn about what kinds of new loot will be available one the event goes live.
Activities
Crucible
There will likely be some balancing changes coming out with the Age of Triumph having to do with the concerns surrounding special ammo changes that went live in patch 2.5.0.2, but will likely also include updates to super attacks as well.
Loot
There will be some new weapons and armor coming out with the new event, some or most of which will be related to the new revamped versions of raids.
