Sekrion, Subverted Mind is a Taken Hydra that can spawn as the final boss of The Nexus: Revisited Strike.
Overview
As the Vex try to recoup their losses against the Guardians and the Taken, the Vex try to desperately bring back Sekrion, Nexus Mind using technology from the Vault of Glass. However, the remainder of the Taken usurp control of the Mind and infuse it with Taken power as well as the Vault of Glass, turning into the Subverted Mind, a being that could hopefully direct them in the absence of their fallen king.
The Vex scramble and panic as the Guardians intervene once again, fighting past both Vex and Taken to the chamber where the Mind is being tended to. Despite its combined Taken and Vex abilities, the Guardians use the Aegis to weaken the Subverted Mind's shields and finally destroy it, this time for good.
Gameplay
As with any Taken Hydra, Sekrion will have no shield by default, leaving it vulnerable to attack. Just like its Vex counterpart, it will stay in the center of the arena and open fire on Guardians using its Aeon Maul. However, every so often, Sekrion will put up a circular shield, completely protecting it from all damage. The only way break this shield down is by using the Super attack of the Aegis that spawns on the edge of the arena. This will allow Guardians to continue damaging Sekrion until it is dead.
Trivia
- The Subverted Minds appearance is similar to the the Seditious Mind found in the Prison of Elders
